Compare · OddsJam

Whet vs OddsJam, feature by feature.

OddsJam built the category. Whet builds the next layer: a two-way consensus gate, correlation-aware parlay pricing, and transparent methodology.

The matrix

Where we overlap and where we differ.

Both products scan 25+ books for +EV opportunities. The differentiation is everything that happens between the “+EV exists” signal and the bet you should actually take.

Why the consensus gate matters more than coverage.

OddsJam ships a generalized +EV scanner with broad book coverage. The +EV signal is real — but a raw +EV number counts a stale quote and a one-book outlier as edges, and both of those are the most common thing a scanner finds.

Whet gates every pick on the market instead of on the single price. The fair line is de-vigged from both sides of the market, then at least three independent books have to be pricing the picked side within two points of implied probability of the best price on offer, a test fitted on 21,782 graded MLB picks. On player props, a quote more than 15 cents off the other books is marked stale and scored down, and Score My Bet runs the same check. MLB prop overs additionally lose 35 score points, because our own graded record says overs underperform. We penalise our own picks when the data says to.

The difference shows up in the record, not the feature list: every pick is published, graded and dated on the proof page.
